MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT GMS

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Jai Mohyal

I hope all my Mohyal brothers and sisters are in good health and high spirits. On the joyous and auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to each one of you. May this festival of harvest and new beginnings bring prosperity, happiness, and abundance into your lives, and strengthen the spirit of unity and togetherness within our community.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the parents who participated in the Mohyal Match Making Get-Together held in Vrindavan. Such platforms provide our eligible young boys and girls, along with their families, a meaningful opportunity to interact, understand, and find suitable life partners. These progressive and thoughtful initiatives are the need of the hour and reflect a positive step towards strengthening our community bonds. A special word of appreciation for Smt Neelima Mehta and her dedicated team for organizing this event so successfully.

During the first week of March, I also had the opportunity to visit Major K.R. Bali School in Dehradun as well as Mohyal Public School, Haridwar. Both programs were extremely well organized, and it was truly heartening to interact with the students. Their enthusiasm, confidence, and aspirations reflect a bright and promising future for our Community.

The Presidents and Secretaries Meeting along with Spouses, held on 6 March 2026 to 8 March 2026 at Mohyal Ashram, Haridwar, was a great success. It was a highly engaging and productive gathering where several meaningful discussions took place, and many valuable ideas were shared. Most importantly, some significant resolutions were passed for the betterment of our society.

Among these, a key resolution emphasized that marriage ceremonies should remain simple, intimate, and in line with our cultural and spiritual values – without the inclusion of non-vegetarian food and hard drinks – so that the sanctity of this sacred institution is preserved. Another very important resolution passed was to strongly discourage the practice of dowry. I sincerely request and encourage all of you to thoughtfully consider and adopt these resolutions in your families. Together, we can bring about a meaningful and positive transformation in society, upholding the dignity of our traditions while setting the right example for future generations.

Let us continue to move forward with unity, responsibility, and a spirit of service for the collective progress and welfare of the Mohyal Fraternity.

Wishing you all good health, happiness, and prosperity.

Yours affectionately,

Vinod Kumar Dutt
