Dear brothers and sisters,

New year 2012 is special for us as its advent coincides with the holding of All India Mohyal Conference on 7th and 8th January, 2012, where we are expecting a large number of brothers, sisters, youth and children to join us and take part in the celebrations. When we celebrate special occasions with our loved ones, the happiness multiplies manifold. With the start of the New Year, a new era begins and, with it, come new hopes, new aspirations and new possibilities.   Every year teaches us some of life's most important lessons and, with that learning, we take another step forward into the new era.

Our forefathers founded the General Mohyal Sabha, 120 years ago. During its long history, there have been many ups and downs, but, during the last couple of decades, we have seen tremendous progress in the working and achievements of our beloved apex body, the GMS. For many years, we remained on the launching pad, but our recent outstanding achievements have strengthened our resolve to continue to work for the upliftment of our Mohyal Community with increased vigour, so that the coming enerations of youth and children can enjoy the fruits of the work of their elders and get the necessary inspiration to work hard for the community, in future.

In the early months of 2012, you will witness the inauguration of our two very prestigious projects at Vrindavan & Goverdhan. We had had many such successful building projects, but now the time has come to look in a different direction and concentrate on the progress and prosperity of our children, with a view to making them fully qualified to face the competition, which the whole world, and especially India, is going to experience in the coming decades. The focus has now to be on the education of Mohyal youth, health care for all, empowerment of youth and women & other related issues. We also need to involve maximum number of members of the community, at the grass root level, in the affairs of the General Mohyal Sabha, by increasing the number of permanent members of the GMS to at least 5000, in the near future.

With these sentiments, I, on behalf of my colleagues in the GMS Managing Committee, and, on my behalf, extend to all members of the fraternity, very warm greetings and felicitations for the New Year 2012.I pray to God Almighty to bestow on the members of our large Pariwar, the best of health, happiness and prosperity, for many many more years to come.

Jai Mohyal!

Yours brotherly,
