SUBJECT: ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE GMS – 2011 &

EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF THE GENERAL BODY OF THE GMS

Dear Brother/Sister,

              The Annual General Meeting of the GMS will be held on Sunday, the 15^th May 2011, at the Mohyal Foundation, A-9, Qutab Institutional Area, USO Road, Jeet Singh Marg, New Delhi-110067. You are welcome to attend the meeting.

              Immediately after the AGM, an Extraordinary Meeting of the General Body will be held at 02.00 P.M., at the same venue, to consider and approve amendments to the GMS Constitution.

              Formal Notices for the meeting, along with the detailed programme and agenda, are enclosed. These will also be published in the May 2011 issue of Mohyal Mitter.

NOTICE

ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING – 2011

The Managing Committee of the General Mohyal Sabha, in its meeting held on the 10^th April 2011, at the Mohyal Foundation, New Delhi, has decided to hold the next General Body meeting of the Sabha on Sunday, the 15^th May 2011. 

Notice is, accordingly, hereby given that a meeting of the General Body of the members of the General Mohyal Sabha (Regd) will be held, as per programme given below, on Sunday, the 15^th May 2011, at the Mohyal Foundation, A-9 Qutab Institutional Area, Jeet Singh Marg, New Delhi-l10067, to consider the following agenda items:-

(a) To confirm the minutes of the last AGM.

(b) To consider and approve the Secretary General's report.

(c) To consider and approve the audited Accounts of the GMS for the financial years 2008-09 and 2009-10.

(d) To consider and approve the budget proposals for the ensuing financial year.

(e) Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.

                                                                                                                    All permanent members of the General Mohyal Sabha, i.e., Patrons/Parthisht/MMTs/Life Members, as also annual members, as on the 9^th April 2011, are eligible and are requested to attend.

Note:-

1. Only members of the GMS present at the meeting shall be entitled to speak and vote. No proxies shall be permitted.

2. Points for discussion from any member(s) for consideration by the AGM are welcome. These should be sent to the GMS Secretariat by the 7^th May 2011. Points received after that date will not be entertained.

3.  Enrolling of new members shall remain suspended from the 10^th April 2011 to the 15^th May 2011 (both  days inclusive) 

4. In view of the AGM, monthly meeting of the Managing Committee of GMS for the month of May 2011 will not be held.
