BK. GURDEEP SINGH VAID

Bk. Gurdeep Singh Vaid s/o Pritam Singh Vaid and grandson of Sh. Diwan Chand Vaid of Gujranwala (W.P.) left for his heavenly abode on 19.12.2007.

He is survived by Bk. Rajpal Singh Vaid and Bk. Amardeep Singh Vaid (sons) and their wives, Smt. Deep Datta, Iqbal Kaur Mohan, Mohinder Kaur Bali and Har Mohan Kaur (daughters) all married and well-settled.

Bk. Gurdeep Singh Vaid remained President of the District Unit of Congress Karnal for 10 years and President of Mohyal Sabha Karnal during 1974, 77-78 and 82-83. With a view to establish his sons and develop the business, he shifted to Khanna in 1987 and settled there. Even after wards, he had much attraction and attachment to Mohyal Sabha, Karnal.

He was known for his cool and calm behaviour. His Bhog ceremony was held on 23.12.07 at Khanna which was attended by a large number of relatives and friends. Rich tributes were paid to him by various religious and social organisations.

On this sad occasion, his sons, Rajpal Singh Vaid and Amardeep Singh Vaid, donated Rs.200/- each to GMS and MS Karnal.May God give eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
