SHRI ASHOK BALI

With a heavy heart I inform all relatives and friends that my elder brother Sh. Ashok Bali resident of Pritam Nagar, Model Town, Ludhiana left for heavenly abode on 20th Dec., 2007 at CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana. He was son of the late Rzd. Jai Ram Bali of Dherian Balian, Gujarkhan, Rawalpindi (Pak.).

He has left behind his grief sticken wife Smt. Kiran Bali, daughter Smt. Anjali Vaid, son-in-law Navin Vaid of Gwalior grandson Master Mehul.

Born on 30th Oct., 1949 at Ambala he served Indian Navy for a short period of five years and took voluntary retirement and later joined United Indian Insurance Co. where he served till his last as Asst. Manager. He also remained president of the company’s employees’ union for many years and served the community.

He was a brilliant student and was holder of three post graduate degrees in English, History and Political Science.

A loving son, husband, father and brother he was a teacher, guide and motivator for many who came in his contact. He shaped careers of many by providing free education and scholarships in higher educational institutions.

Kriya ceremony for the noble soul was performed on 22nd Dec., 2007 at Krishna Mandir Ludhiana, attended by a large number of relatives, friends, well wishers and Mohyal biradari of Ludhiana.

On this occasion, the family donates Rs.1000/- to MS Ludhiana and Rs.1000/- to GMS.–Vinod Bali, Ludhiana c/o MS Ludhina.
