Dear Sir,

On learning of the sad demise of Shri P.L. Bali, Secretary Finance, GMS, an Emergent Meeting of the Executive of Mohyal Sabha, Dehradun was held on the 19th Dec., 2007, to pay homage to the departed soul. Mohyals not only of Dehradun, but of the entire India, will never forget his contributions to the community. Two minutes’ silence was observed and the members prayed to God to rest his soul in peace.

The sudden demise of Shri P.L. Bali, Secretary Finance, GMS, was shocking (Mohyal Mitter Jan. 2008). Last time we met on 25.11.07, at Jalandhar at the All India Mohyal Youth Camp when he was hale and hearty. No one can do anything, but bow before the wish and will of Almighty God.

Shri P.L. Bali was sober, sincere and soft-spoken with a dynamic personality. He was a man of integrity and a true Mohyal. He rendered selfless service to the Mohyal Community. His contribution to the Mohyal Community was praiseworthy. His demise has created a great vacuum, which cannot be filled and is a great loss to the community. He will always be remembered as a stalwart of the community.

I, on behalf of myself and all members of MS Karnal, express our profound grief and sorrow and pray to Almighty God for granting eternal peace to the departed soul.

It was heart-breaking to hear about the sad demise of Shri P.L. Bali. He attended two meetings at Hisar alongwith Sh. G.L. Datta ‘Josh’. He was hale and hearty and was polite and gentle to the core. We had short interaction with him but his sweet nature and devotion to duty was shining out from his personality. He was a gem, whose shiny rays had loving and noble effect on whomsoever came in contact with him.

We, Shri Sai Dass Vaid, Pawan Datta, Mrs. Rzd. Sapna Vaid, Mrs. & Mr. Jatinder Kumar Bakshi, members of Mohyal Sabha, Hisar, express regret and sorrow on the untimely death of Shri P.L. Bali. Kindly convey our heartfelt feelings to Mrs. P.L. Bali and other members of the family.

The sad demise of Shri P.L. Bali, Finance Secretary, GMS was shocking to all the members of Mohyal Sabha Kathua. He had attended the All India Mohyal Youth Camp at Jalandhar from 24th to 26th Nov. 07 of, in which delegation of this sabha also participated. He was a very kind and noble person. Nobody could imagine that he will be no more with us.

Rich tributes were paid to Shri P.L. Bali by the members and two minutes’ silence observed. It was prayed to Almighty God to give peace to the departed soul and courage to the Bali family to bear with fortitude their irreparable loss.
